Bark in the Park 2012

Is San Jose’s Bark in the Park really the largest dog festival in the US? It sure felt that way at shady William Street Park on Sept. 15.

Thanks to the hard work of 300 volunteers from the Naglee Park neighborhood’s Campus Community Association, 15,000 people and 3,500 dogs had a tail-wagging good time at the annual event, which also serves as a fund-raiser for the CCA and local animal organizations. In fact, it was the festival’s “happy dog tail wagging contest” that sparked the day’s biggest grins – and greatest chaos! Don’t want to miss the fun next year?
