The contest, hosted on Wagaroo.com asked voters actively encouraged people to vote for an organization and then donate to them.  As a result many organizations got both votes and dollars. Our very own, San Francisco SPCA received the most votes and won the top prize of $4,000! Copper’s Dream Animal Rescue came in second, winning $1,000, thanks to the vote of a randomly selected voters during the contest.

Christine Exley, Chief of Research and Co-founder of Wagaroo  explains the theory behind ‘Vote to Give Wags and Dollars’. “With around 50% of individuals who voted in this contest proceeding to the donation page of the group they voted for, we are excited and hope all of these deserving groups received many new donations!”
