Woof Me Out to the Ballgame

If there’s anything better than watching the home team play a live game, it’s watching the home team play a live game with your furry best friend by your side.

July 15, 7:05PM
Oakland Athletics vs. the Los Angeles Angels

The 6th annual Oakland A’s Dog Day at the Park is sponsored by AvoDerm Natural. Don’t miss the Pup Rally at 5:30PM, followed by a Pup Parade around the warning track.

The A’s will donate a portion of the event proceeds to Dogs4Diabetics, a non-profit organization that trains medical-alert service dogs to detect low blood sugar in diabetic kids and adults and alert family members to this dangerous situation.

The deadline to register for the game is Monday, July 11 and only the first 700 dogs will be accepted. A current vaccination certificate and ID tags are required on the day of the game, and dogs must be accompanied by human companions 18 or older.

August 28, 1:05 PM
San Francisco Giants vs. the Houston Astros

In years past, doggie parades around the field prior to the game and ample goodie bags from event sponsors established a decidedly dog-friendly vibe. Details are still being worked out for this year’s event. Stay tuned to the Giants website, sanfranciscogiants.mlb.com, for more info and tickets.
