The expression “hair of the dog,” referring to a hangover cure, is derived from a folklore cure remedy for dog bites that calls for hair from the offending dog to be placed on the wound.
The Byrne Family of Virginia is one of only a few breeders in the U.S. that sells dogs bred to hunt turkeys.
