More than 250 guests attended the Marin Humane Society’s 5th Annual More Than Puppy Love event at the Mill Valley Community Center on the evening of Saturday, April 16. Guests were treated to song and dance performances by Stage Dor Dance Studio and a fashion show featuring designs from Gene Hiller and Lindisima — with shelter dogs accompanying models down the catwalk.
Many decked out in their Hollywood best – in keeping with the event theme, “Puppy Love Goes to the Movies” – guests enjoyed tasty snacks and libations while browsing auction opportunities. Live auction items included “An Evening with Tyler Florence,” a private event for 20 people to be held at his Mill Valley shop; an SF Giants VIP package; and a two-day rental of the new XJL Jaguar.
More than $75,000 was raised for Marin Humane’s shelter animals – an event record and a wonderful show of support from the local community.
